First Thursday is a monthly celebration of art, diversity, culture, and the Pearl District. On the first Thursday of every month the Pearl District opens its doors to all to experience the best the Pearl has to offer. Tour the many art galleries while sipping on wine and nibbling some cheese. Stroll through the best retail and restaurants in Portland. In the spring and summer months, 13th Avenue will close for local artists to display their work for show and sale. In addition, many businesses will host parties on this special day.
